CPR Class:
Elizabeth DeCarlo has been a volunteer EMT with the Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad for 12 years. She received her EMT certification in 2010 and her American Heart Association BLS Instructor certification in 2013. She is certified to teach CPR and First Aid. This class focused on the basics of Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and choking. Participants had a chance to practice these skills on mannequins.
Zumba Class:
This class was led by mother-daughter duo Mercedes and Natalia Novoa. They are both certified as instructors in a variety of Zumba programs. Zumba® took the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
