Senior Civil Engineer - Highway/Roadway Design

Michael Baker is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer who is eager to support the highway design group and grow their career with Michael Baker. The successful candidate will work with Project Managers to execute and oversee technical production of roadway and highway projects. You will lead and perform the development of complex design drawings and engineering estimates involving street and highway projects including coordination with various engineering disciplines. Experience with NJ agencies, such as NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA and PANYNJ is preferred. 8-10+ years of engineering experience. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $108,000. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.

Traffic Engineer EIT

Stantec is seeking a Traffic Engineer-In-Training is to work independently on smaller projects and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of transportation sector leadership, which includes the leaders of our traffic, highway, and structural design groups. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of transportation studies and projects including highway, corridor, and intersection improvement projects, transit projects, and pedestrian/bicycle projects, starting from planning through final design. This opportunity will include traffic data collection, capacity analysis, simulation and modeling, concept planning, and preparation of reports for various clients and agencies across New Jersey and the Northeast Region. Opportunities for advancement include project management, leadership trajectory, business development, delegation of responsibilities to our junior traffic staff, and coordination of inter-discipline design efforts.
This position can be filled in our North Jersey (Rochelle Park, NJ) or South Jersey (Mount Laurel, NJ) office locations.
