ASCE NJB Professional Issues Technical Group (PITG) Presents:

"The Port Authority of NY & NJ Construction Update on Terminal 1 Redevelopment Newark Liberty International Airport"

SPEAKERS:

Raul Leonardo is the Engineer of Construction overseeing the construction program for the new terminal, frontage bridge & pedestrian bridge under the Terminal 1 Redevelopment Program.

Leonardo Iacoviello is the Engineer of Construction for NJ airports and manages the Terminal 1 landside and airside supporting projects, along with state of good repair construction at EWR and TEB airports.

 OVERVIEW:

The presentation will include discussion of the $2.7 billion Terminal One Redevelopment Program to modernize and replace Terminal A, provide associated roadway and airside improvements, and a new parking garage. The new terminal is slated to have a partial opening in 2021 with a full opening in 2022.

This program is pending approval for 1.0 PDHs for NY and NJ PEs.
